when on your spiritual path it may lead you to choose a multitude of teachings and more specifically they may make you choose between something that makes you whole to something that you also feel you need to develop. the dilemma is that you have limited time in the week to do both especially if they tend to fall on the same day.

My direction and calling has been Druidic but also to healing using reiki and shamanism elements combined. Both of these ways of healing came from my teachings at Caer Cohrain on the Isle of Sheppey .

I am missing the community of people who attend the drumming group , and the teacher and healer within Lynn Gosney whos heart is welcoming with love and compassion for all that enter into that sacred space. In this space i enjoy just being , the connection with each other , with the beat of the drum filling the air with tribal past and also present. The natural heartbeat of the earth combining with energies of self. The ancestral chanting is always amazing , calling on the ancestors to sing and be present. The lodge itself holds a special energy within , the floors have rugs that caress your toes and the smell of Californian sage is in every crevice, within every drum that hangs majestically on the walls. The whispers of spirit await and the anticipation to drum fills your whole body with joy. I will return to drum soon as the pull is great to be in a place where you can experience the wonders of life in a safe environment.

my sideways journey has taken me at the present to explore my spiritual development. attending the mind, body and spirit centre i have met with such caring individuals such as yvonne Roberts and Karen- i do not know her surname but both are truly amazing and supportive. every two weeks we meet and on a Thursday , this is why its difficult to attend Lynn,s at Caer Cohrain as that also falls on a Thursday. each week we explore different mediums to connection with energy , initially our own and then with that of spirit connection, a truly amazing way of seeing what self development brings. The healing centre has its own unique energies and is a great place to be and enjoy reiki and holistic treatments , to enjoy specific run courses or just to attend breadhurst monthly gathering, to sing.

I have a rich spiritual life and being Druid is my background guardian that brings it all together . Each and every one of us is a spiritual being having a human experience , a rich tapestry just waiting to be explored. /i\
